A hot tub can provide more than relaxation and stimulation of a standard bathtub. Maintain cleanliness of your hot tub and its operation is a matter of routine.
The Tub

After each use, carefully wipe the bowl with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to the jets. Clean the edges and nozzles as well as possible.

Use a cleaning to avoid damaging the surface of your bathtub. Avoid abrasive cleaners and disinfectants. Your service whirlpool can recommend a particular brand or an ingredient.
Cleaning System

Twice a month, while hunting in the plumbing for your spa. Close all the streams and fill the bathtub with hot water just above the jets. Add recommended for cleaning your bathtub and the whirlpool for about 10 minutes with the vents open.

Empty the tank completely and refill with cold water. Run the whirlpool for another 10 minutes. Drain the tub and dry it again. During drying, open some of the jets so that the next person to use the bath will not try to run the pumps against the jets closed.

This simple routine will prevent any risk of dirt and keep your tub clean and functional.
