* Mineral Spirits
Pressure washer or garden hose *

Step 1-Getting Started

Wear a pair of plastic gloves because of chemicals in the washing solution can damage skin. It is advisable to start with a broom to brush and remove visible dust, dirt or cobwebs.
Step 2-basic cleaning with pressurized water

You must use a hose to wash the vinyl siding. However, make sure to maintain the water pressure low, because the vinyl siding can be damaged. After wetting the vinyl, use a long handled brush to scrub the surface. Use a soft brush to avoid scratching the surface. Allow cleaned vinyl shed to dry for several hours. Prepare a solution with some household cleaning solvents mixed with water. Try using a mild detergent that does not pose a threat to chemically react with the vinyl surface. Dip the mop in the solution and rub the vinyl siding. Leave the panels soaped unattended for about 30 minutes. This allows the soap to act on the hard drive to remove the dirt. Thoroughly rinse the panels using the hose.
